My first experience with Counts Cove Kennels and Alice, The owner, was wonderful. I went to visit her Kennels before selecting my puppy. Siberians are wonderful dogs and I made the decision to purchase my puppy from Counts Cove Kennels after spending many hours on the internet checking out different breeders. I even had my Vet and trainer check out her web site, and they approved of her operation and thought her dogs were of great quality. Alice is a wonderful person, and when you meet her you will only then fully understand her love for animals.
I think it's important to check out the kennels and operation of any breeder prior to your purchase. When you check out Counts Cove Kennels, you will see a wonderful selection of dogs and very clean kennels.
I pick up my puppy on October 12, 2002, and have enjoyed seeing the litters page where her picture is posted and frequently updated. We are calling her Nanook. We will probably purchase another puppy from Counts Cove Kennels future litters. Many years ago, I was a Siberian Husky breeder, and I know what quality, temperament, and disposition to look for. Counts Cove Kennels is where you want to be when electing a puppy.

Microchips
My first experience with the microchip came two days after I picked up my Husky. We had left our gate open and the pup ran out and we couldn't keep up with him. I remembered Counts Cove Kennels had him microchiped and I called Alice immediately and she was of great help. I honestly did not expect to recover him that week but I did. The chip is the best thing that ever happened to "Boston" and my family. He ran away on a Sunday and we had him home on Wednesday, he could have been home Tuesday but I delayed my visit to the animal shelter. I recommend everyone who owns a dog and loves him/her dearly to invest in a microchip. It saved Boston's life and I now feel secure.

German Shepherd Pups
I Was Looking for German Shepherds Puppies when I ran across an ad for Counts Cove Kennels. I called and right away Alice made me feel like an old friend. We set a date for her to come by my home with two puppies. She showed up as planned with two wonderful baby boys! We were only going to get one, but ended up with two of them.
Over the next few weeks we talked nearly everyday. My hubby and I told her we wanted another dog. That week she came up with my first little girl. We began talking about houses and I learned that she had some properties for sale in our area. During this time when I needed anything like dog food she would bring it up to me without asking questions. In the little time I have known her and her Hubby they have made me feel like we're their best friends. Now I have 4 of her Dogs all German Shepherds! You could not ask for a better person to deal with when you want to buy a dog. My experience with most breeders is that they are just in it for the money. Not Alice, she loves her dogs and boy they are wonderful. She covers alot of things on them, from the ears to there bones! If you are looking for a new puppy, you have got to call Alice! She also has a wonderful adoption plan and payment plan which was and is especially helpful to new breeders like myself.

German Shepherd Pups
Hi Alice, I finally have a spare moment! Miss Watha woo had 10 puppies almost 6 weeks ago. All are AWSOME! She is my BEST mom of all my dogs! She is a remarkable, wonderful, beautiful dog, and we love her to pieces! She is gentle, and sweet and has become MY girl, as I am the one she wakes at 3AM to take her out, lucky me She has integrated herself well into our pack and now spends most of her days lounging and watching TV! She skips up stairs now, where she used to be clumsy, and everyone who meets her falls in love. I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful girl! It's taken me long enough to write a testimonial but at last here it is... I always wanted a husky but it had to be the right one.....that's him on the home page and who wouldn't adore him? :) He is, like all the dogs that come from 'Counts Cove' ... wonderful. I have had the pleasure of seeing several litters since getting Timber, and have been so impressed by the love and care that goes into everything that Alice touches. Like a child from a happy home, Timber reflects his original background constantly. If you are looking for a husky, you need look no further, you have found 'home'. Quality and trust is everything.
