    Free Feeding:
    1)
Your pup has been Free-Fed Dry Kibble their entire life, and therefore they do NOT realize that it is anything special. They will run by their food disk and pick up one or two kibbles and then race off with it, returning the next time the mood strikes them.

    2) Your pup will NEVER over eat and has already learned to regulate their appetite to their nutritional needs.

    3) If you want to go to scheduled feeding at dawn and dusk, make sure you are NEVER late. This can cause them to go into a starvation mode, whereby they will start to scarf down the food to the point of overeating, causing them to upchuck all they have devoured. The reason they do this is that they are afraid they may again someday be without food when they are hungry, so in their mentality, they figure they had better take it while the food is there. This is a very hard habit to break them of, once this gets started.

    4) Here is a Guide for the proper weight for your pup:

Under Weight: if you can SEE their ribs.

Perfect Weight: If you can FEEL but NOT SEE their ribs.

Over Weight: If you CANNOT FEEL their ribs

Transferring your Pup onto a Different Brand of Puppy Food:
We urge you to invest in a good quality Puppy Food, that is easily digestable, to assist in ensuring a nice long life for your Pup! The transfer process should take approximately 4 weeks in total as follows:

1st Week: Mix 3/4 Old to 1/4 New

2nd Week: Mix 1/2 Old to 1/2 New

3rd Week: Mix 1/4 Old to 3/4 New

    4th Week: 100% New.
