PICKING UP YOUR PUP AT THE BREEDER'S FACILITY

Counts Cove Kennels in Southern California produces pups with wonderful dispositions

    Calculating the Date of Release

Your pup will be Ready for Release or Shipment at 8 weeks of age per the California State Law and the FAA. You can calculate the date of release by either adding 8 weeks or 56 days from date of birth.

If you are planning to pick up your pup in person, you will need the following supplies to ensure a pleasant ride home with your new pup:
    • 1 gallon water - to be used for any necessary cleanups and for drinking water
    • 3-4 towels - to place on your lap so you can hold your pup, or to be used for towel drying the pup if necessary or for padding the crate if you decide to bring one along.
    • 1 roll of paper towels - to be used for quick cleanups
    • 1 container baby wipes - to be used for quick cleanups
    • 2 large trash bags - to be used for soiled towels and trash
    • 1 leash with loop handle - to be used for an emergency poop run by making a slip knot through the handle for use as a collar
Note: If you are traveling a distance of more than 1 hour, we would suggest that you bring along a 200 Series Dog Crate.
